Package Damage by Customs?
My question is if customs in australia or america believe a package i ordered contains drugs or a prohibited substaince hidden in it. and the officers rip it to peices and find nothing wrong what happens with the package? Do i get it in pieces does it get replaced by the officers or do i have to pay? Ive been watching to catch a smugler and it got me thinking does it get replaced? Thanks

--- They have all kinds of ways of "looking" into your bag without ripping it apart. Believe me, if after it goes thru all of their tests, there is a 99% chance that it will contain drugs!!!
I would not worry about it! If they rip it apart and there are no drugs, they will either have to fix it or buy you a new item.

No, you should be able to get your items replaced and your bag fixed or replaced as well.
this whole drug war is ridiculous and harms more people than it helps. but that's a separate subject for a diff time.
If they had reasonable doubt (most likely they'll claim they did. hardly any honest cops TBH w/you), then they can say that you were suspect. If they didn't they could still get away with it on the premise that there were lots of druggies in the area, or they mmistakingythoughtyou for someone else. It's Nonsense obviously, but it's what goes on in these sscummycountries where prohibition is high. places like South america.
