A lot depends on your major, your field of study.

Usually, 4 - year degree holders make much more than tech grads over the course of their lives, but there is a tremendous gap betwen whatnsomeone with a degree in, say, French might earn compared to what an entineer might earn.

You need to research this. In America, you could look at employment prospects and expected salaries and qualifications for specific jobs by searching the bureau ofmlabor statistics on line.

Probably your country has a similar resource.

At your school you no doubt have guidance counselors to help you make such decisions. Talk to them. Ask a teacher you trust where to look for advice or information.

Please do this carefully and thoroughly.mIt is a huge decision, with consequences for your entire life.

Congratulations on starting your research! Most people don't think that far ahead. Now follow it up!

    Good luck!

A lot depends on your aptitude and interest(s). People who attend vocational schools can get jobs that reward hard work with good pay (think plumber and electrician).

You should really talk things over with your school's guidance counselor. That is what they are there for.
