Why is nearly everything in America got a strong link with religion?
Politics, news, fast food restaurants to name a few have a very strong religious link. Its seems to cause more problems than it solves. Politics and religion should be two separate things as should the news and surly it is better for you sales if you do not shout out your religious status

I don't think you quite understand the people in my country; they're mostly idiots.
Consider the amount of atheist politicians vs Christian politicians in the US, the amount of right-wing conservative lobby groups, then you'll understand why politicians and businessmen are quick to say "hey guys, I'm a Christian!"

Moses, a reptilian alien? How dare they attack one of my most humble characters which I seem as much as within the old testament. I dislike you tube immensely, as any individual can publish anything, or almost whatever on you tube.

Religion plays a part in many American's lives and because of the civil trend to disdain anything religion (thanks in part to the separation of church and state) that many religious people see happening, the religious links are being strengthened.
I've always been leery of any business that plays upon a religious theme. I don't mind thrift stores doing it, primarily because they are a charity arm of a religious group or denomination. But when it comes to for-profit businesses, that's when I become very skeptical of the owner's motives.
Like atheists who come into this forum to defend themselves against falsehoods perpetrated by the religious, the religious are making their cause known in public life for the same reason. They don't like the attacks that are leveled against them and are striking back.
Unfortunately, far too many of them fail to recognize that they have brought a lot of the disdain for religion on themselves through their actions. The hypocrisy continues.

Ummm...ok.
Better for sales for "not shouting out"? Let's see....Chick-Fil-A did record business when it was discovered that homosexual activists planned on boycotting the restaurants for opposing homosexual marriage. Yeah, that really hurt their business.
Hobby Lobby saw record sales defying the health care mandate. Again, that must have hurt.
The ones causing problems are the ones trying to distance society from religion, not the ones trying to live by it.

Because Americans are generally more religious than Europeans. If Europeans were as religious as Americans then it would be the same there as well. Americans attend church more and therefore donate more to churches who can organize and influence.
When politicians run for office they use this to gain votes from their more religious constituents.
BTW The religiosity in America is nothing compared to Africa and the Middle East. Saudi Arabia and a few other places make the Bible Belt of America look like candy land. Of course, nobody ever asks why MUSLIMS obsessed with religion. If I were you I would stop thinking about American churches and start thinking about the immigrants coming into Britain and the societal impacts this will have in the future.

Why do foreigners care what America's laws are? You complain about America yet muslims are invading your land literally. You complain about America and you guys are struggling just as bad over there.

Because the US is full of people who still believe in primitive superstitions about gods.
