How big can i stretch my ears out before they wont go back to normal?

I've been wanting to stretch my ears out for a while and right now they're only 6s so they're still pretty small. I just wanted to know if I can go to a 0 and still shrink back to normal later.

This can vary person to person. I've gone up (00g at my biggest) and down over the years. The last time I let my shrink up, the holes only went down to about a 16g. Now the bigger you go, the larger the hole will stay once you decide that you don't wish to have large jewelry in it anymore. Treat stretching a piercing as a permanent thing. And the longer you have it at a bigger size, the less of a chance you have of it getting back to a small gauge (I consider "small" anything under 10g).

I currently have mine at 00g, and at 24 years old, I am OK with them not being a normal size when and if I ever take mine out.

Once you go past 8mm then you can't go back to normal.. Well, so they say. I think that it's different for everyone because of course everyone is different and whatnot. It also depends on how quickly you've stretched. If you stretched to 10mm and then took it out after 1 month, it will shrink back quite quickly, almost back to 1.2mm (the size of a normal stud piercing).. Maybe even completely, I'm not 100% sure because I've never done it. I have 14mm ears at the moment and I've had them since November and they still shrink back to a 'normal' size. ( :

From my expiernce and also friends, you can go to a 0 and you'll be able to shrink down. Of course it's not instantaneous, it's a process but they do shrink down. Do not go past a 0.

The "point of no return", as some call it, is 12mm.

Most people cannot size down once they hit that point.

You may be a lucky one, though, and be able to. It depends on the elasticity of your ears.
