Has anyone ever tried an electronic cigarette?

my mum has one. i don't think it works considering that she smokes an electric one with one hand and a real one with the other at the same time xxxx

I've got a few friends who use them - I've puffed on one once or twice. You get a nicotine injection, and it handles the 'oral fixation' (the reason you see ex-smokers constantly snacking, chewing on straws, toothpicks, etc.)

I consider them more of a tool to quit smoking than a replacement for cigs though. I quit smoking years ago, but I will still bum one every once in a while (kind of to test my will - and to remind myself how effing disgusting they are).

(Edit: to the poster talking about 'anything with smoke smells' - you obviously don't know what an electronic cigarette is. They do have different odors, but there is no 'smoke'. Just a puff of steam/vapor.

It still has a smell anything with smoke does. Try a filtered ash tray if you use it right you wont smell it hold the ashtray while you smoke and blow into it also their is large ones on ebay that work really well. And turn partially goth burn some candles in your room for a while before you attempt to smoke their, it helps take the odor away.

No! Electronic cigarettes cause cancer. Do not think about the "good" thing that you "heard" These are extremely dangerous.

My stepdad has one and he loves it. My mam and I always used to tell him off and now he's buzzing because he doesn't have to go outside haha

Ya i dont like them though. They taste like ****. A cigarette is much more satisfying.
