Chasing my dream of becoming a professional football player?
I want somebody to answer my question.
My dream is to become a successful professional footballer (soccer player). My friends have always laughed at me when they heard me talking about my dream.I lives in a city which the government is doing nothing to help pushing the development of local football forward and basically it seems like all the people in the city is working for money.Because of that,I think I won't be successful if I keep staying in here.
Recently I got a chance to study abroad in England.I love how England people loves football and I think it would be a great chance for me to actually get a little bit closer to my dream. But the problem is, I dont think I am capable of living in England on my own even for one month.I will miss my family and my friends a lot.I am worrying about racism in England.I think I'm too shy to make new friends. Although I really want to success, I'm still worrying about a lot of different things.
What should I do???????

If I was you, I would go to England and study abroad! It's such an amazing opportunity and becoming a professional footballer is really really hard but all I can say is try your best! If it doesnt work out, oh well, you have a good education to back you up and maybe get a job that involves football or keep trying out! Heck, my gym teacher once tried out for the NFL and made it and then got cut, I'm not sure if thats how soccer works though. But by racism in England, I've never been there so I wouldn't know but I don't think they are any different from USA. And I'm shy too, I've noticed that sometimes I meet people that I just feel comfortable around, I wouldn't worry about that, there will be someone who will go out of their way to introduce themselves to you but you may have to do it too! Try finding someone with similar interests and just start a conversation! Like find someone talking about soccer and say "oh hey did you see that game last night? what a play _____ had!" or something like that. Good luck!
