How to extend battery life on my Android phone?

I have been an Android user for over 2 years. I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate AT&T and I'm disappointed with the battery life. On my previous Androids I downloaded Juice Defender and it kept my battery going for 14-16 hours and I was satisfied. Now I have Juice Defender and only get 9-11 hours on this phone. I have tried everything. It's very aggravating but I love this phone.

you're excellent to some volume. It s commonly by no ability undesirable to enable your battery drain each and each and every of ways. And once you first grew to develop into the phone on, you should have charged it for quite a few hours. the first value should be very lengthy, upwards of 5 or 8 hours. in case you probably did not, this is rather ok. in simple terms value all of it the way, and drain it until eventually this is complete, like you suggested. which will difficulty your battery over the years. As for what you suggested about it going to 70 or 30 p.c. as quickly because this is disconnected, it really is amazingly staggering. possibly you've a defective battery.

Try doing a full discharge/full charge cycle on the battery, perhaps two or three times in succession. This will help recalibrate the battery's built in chip. Do this every three or four weeks after.
