Are Armenians basically a blend of Middle Easterners and Europeans?
I've always thought Armenians mostly varied from Southern/Eastern European-looking to Middle Eastern-looking. Andre Agassi to me for instance looks rather like a Greek whereas Kim Kardashian (I know she's half-Armenian but favors her Armenian ancestry) looks like Turkish or Persian to me. Is it fair to say that they're kind of a blend of the two?

They are not a blend of Turkish and Persian.
They are an old race.
The Armenians (Armenian: Հայեր, Hayer) are a nation and an Indo-European ethnic group originating in the Caucasus and eastern Anatolia. The Armenians are one of the ancient people on the world .
Research differs on the origins of the Armenian people, some suggesting that they are an amalgam of people who came together during the Urartian (Araratian) period, while others cite Herodotus and Strabo accounts' of the people migrating into the Armenian highlands from Thrace and Phyrgia around 2000 BC.
The highlands were populated as early as 2 million BC, with settlements rising in the Ararat valley as early as 9000 BC and centers for the smelting of copper and bronze rising as early as 5000 BC.
It is more likely that the Armenians are a compilation of all the peoples who rose and entered the area over waves of Indo-European exodus and the return from ca. 9000 BC through the 1st millennium BC.
By their language hints, it appears Armenians are more recently descended from the Hayasa-Azzi, Nairi, Hurrians and others. The predominant family seems to have evolved and made itself apparent by the mid 1st millennium BC. For immediately following the collapse of the Urartian Empire, the Armenians appeared in history as a unified people.
In 1997, genetic scientists uncovered a "marker" gene, which may prove a common ancestry between Armenians, Ashkenazi Jews and Semitic Arabs. The gene is shared only by these ethnic groups, and indicates a very old and common origin.

noo. Armenians are not a blend of anything. Indo-European people just like all Europeans. Italians, Armenian, Greeks and some other South Europeans look very much alike but you can not say for example Italians are a mix of Middle Easterners and Europeans. Its just dumb. And the other was also right Armenians are an old civilization, very very very old. During Armenian Genocide, Turks kidnapped a lot of Armenian girls and forced them to have children with them. I guess trying to clean out their race or whatever because trust me, a typical Turk looks nothing more than a monkey. Now day Turks have some other blood in them mostly Bulgarian, Armenian, Greek and etc. Armenians look very different from each other but does not mean they are not full Armenian. I am full Armenian with brown eyes/hair and light skin color but my friend has green eyes, also white with dirty blonde hair naturally. We are both full Armenian. Some Armenians you might think are Middle Eastern. Just the way they look.
