Galaxy S3 or IPhone 5?

The new iPhone will ship with Apple's new iOS 6 software (it will also be available for people with older phones on Sept. 19). There are more than five features we like in Apple's new iOS 6 software, but the new Maps app is stunning. The app features turn-by-turn navigation and 3-D renditions of cities and buildings. There's also Passbook, an app that aggregates all your coupons, tickets, and boarding passes.

I was stuck between the two phones for a while but I have come to the conclusion that I am getting an iPhone 5. Here is why

1. The Samsung Galaxy S III is almost 10 months old and that's years for a smartphone especially because the next generation of Galaxy S flagships are about to be revealed.

2. The iPhone 5 has better build quality, and a slightly better camera than the Galaxy S III.

3. The Galaxy S III will probably only receive one more update in it's lifetime before it's dropped by Samsung because of it's age.

4. There are more accessories available for the iPhone 5

The iPhone 5 is 7.6mm thick with metal casing and also a non-removable battery

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is 8.6mm thick, plastic casing yet has a removable battery.

The Samsung isn't as small and thin.

The iPhone 5 is more durable as show tests on both the phones.

The Samsung is available in lots of colours but the iPhone only 2.

The Samsung is quite a lot cheaper then the iPhone.

The iPhone has the App Store does have the same about of apps as the playstore but the apple store has more free apps and cheaper apps to purchase.

The iPhone is always the most popular because its by apple.

All the people who buy the iPhone say it was a lot of money but well worth it and easier to use. If I was you I would get the iPhone or if your going on contract find the best deal.

Iphone 5 , there good there easy to work and there good looking phones where as the samsung is a good phone but they take a while to handle , as you said you like the iphone 3g so i would get the iphone 5 , hope i help :)

Iphone has the best security by far of any smartphone (because all code gets reviewed first before it can get into the appstore). To me thats the most important thing with a phone, no need to run antivirus or worry about what you are installing on it. I like the fact the design is also thinner to fit in pocket and even use with one hand.

One of my friends have Galaxy S3 and it's nothing special ,It's your decision but I like IPhone 5 more than Galaxy S3.

Buy galaxy grand or canvas hd they are the latest smartphones. S3 and iphone are now a bit old especially s3.

Galaxy Note 2 is the best, so get S3 because it's like Note 2. And think about it, give me 1 reason iOS beats Android? NONE, Galaxy = Larger screen = easier texting + more exciting to watch videos, better camera (not talking about MP, so please no idiotic replies saying iCrap 5's camera is also 8 MP), MORE CUSTOMIZATION, free apps without jailbreak (download .apk files) dowload MP3s and full length ALBUMS, front camera of Galaxy Note 2 is 2 MP, while iCrap's front camera is 1.2. Shall i continue?

Iphone 5, just jailbreak and its much better than the android. Guaranteed .

I phone 5 all the way it has a great long screen. It is very light and thin. With really good camera and plenty of more cool apps than google play.
