can I reset my ipod nano to factory setting and get rid of play list.?

I am selling my iPod nano and need help to reset my iPod to original factory setting. Is this possible? I went to iTunes where I have my own music that I never purchased on iTunes and I don't seem to see a way to delete. Can this be reset to the way it was when I first purchased my iPod.
