iTunes Library annoying?

I've been transferring music from my old Mac to my new one, yes it's the newest model, not sure of the name at the moment. I've updated the software and everything as well.

Every time I go from my iPod library to my iTunes, it resets to the top of the library every. single. time. It drives me insane, and it makes the whole process extremely time consuming going back and forth looking for music. I also have a trackpad for a mouse at the moment, so it's been taking ages to scroll down constantly.

Is there anyway I can change it to not reset to the top every time? If not it's not the end of the world.

    Why yes, Yes it is. iTunes is very annoying. That's why I don't use it.
