That's a great suggestion! The Yahoo! Messenger product team does usually have seasonal IMVironments, however not always.
I would suggest providing feedback regarding this to our product team by going to your desktop Yahoo! Messenger, click 'help', and 'send feedback'. This will ensure your suggestions go to the right place.
