How do I level up fast in Black Ops II?

K/D ratio means nothing, my friend. Play either hardpoint or kill confirmed. Run orbital V-Sat for sure, if you're good enough to keep earning it you will dominate the opposition. In kill confirmed try to snatch up any dog tags you can. You'd be best off running around with the 870MCS or an SMG. Here's a generic class

PDW/MSMC/Vector w/ fast mags and quickdraw

No secondary

ghost/hardline or ghost flak jacket (better in hardpoint)

toughness or scavenger. I use toughness and just get a new gun if I run outta ammo

dexterity

I used to hate quickdraw/sleight of hand pro with SMG's because I though it was redundant, but combined with dexterity you'll rush up and kill people before they have a chance to shoot. I like to use ghost because I flank a lot, and hardline gets you the V-Sat a lot quicker.

Hardpoint is the game type I've been playing a lot more of recently. Once you memorize the hardpoint spawns, most maps have 5 or so places it spawns and the order never changes, you can rack up easy points by going to the next hardpoint before it spawns. Also, you can earn cheap score/points by capping it, running out, letting the enemy cap it, and then killing them and capping it again. 525 score for minimum effort.

As far as killstreaks go, I don't use ones that slow me down too much. Using a loadstar or v-tol seems like a waste of time for me. If you can earn it, try Stealth Chopper or AGR/V-Sat, and Dogs or Swarm. They'll earn you points and kills, and you can kill and play the objective while they do. Best of both worlds. If you want a lower set up, I'd run either UAV-CUAV-V-Sat or Hellstorm-Lightning-Vsat.

Honestly I don't see the point to a modded controller. I mean Treyarch was nice enough to add a modded controller attatchment, I wouldn't waste the money.

Just play the objective what I do is put my score streaks on orbital vast.. Emp Nd sometimes counter uav.. I know that they seem like horrible kill streaks to use but.. They get you 10 pts for every kill a team mate gets.! Soo bye the end of a game I have over 7000+ score :) add me if you have Xbox.. Lexi1120

Your K/D indeed means nothing. I have a K/D of 1.27, which remained constant in all the COD games. My W/L ration is under .5 cos my random teammates always suck and I play on the worst connection in the world

BTW, your KD isnt a reflection of skill, but of the quality of your internet connection......

ANyways, back to the topic, I'm prestige master, and I got there playing Kill Confirmed, either hardcore or regular, and have smgs and rifles almost all gold (smgs diamond)

Mod controllers help, but SHHHHHH! NO ONE uses them..................................................................................

I stopped playing CODs and all competitive gaming online. The quality of the players and their attitudes towards other have seriously disgusted me from the human race. I miss the time where you just played for fun instead of playing to win.

I love jumping in the water.

Play a lot of kill confirmed or domination and play the objective. Use low kill streaks and you will get a lot of xp.

Play overnight while you are asleep.

oh easy. kill confirmed. you get points for killing and extra points for getting tags. and extra points if you have team maet get tags.
