***Warning, if your not computer saavy, or comfortable with cmd and physically working with hardware DO NOT attempt the following as you could further damage your system.
1. Try re-seating the HDD, its possible the connection became loose.
2. Run the on-board diagnostics on the HDD to make sure it has not failed.
3. Boot to your windows disc and run a CHKDSK
You can accomplish step 3 by booting to a windows disc, choosing the advanced repair options and then launching a command prompt. From here enter the syntax "chkdsk c: /r /f", this will check the disc for inconsistencies and fix/repair bad sectors.
4. Try rebuilding the MBR on the HDD.
You can accomplish step 4 by booting to your windows disc . Choose the advanced options from the dialog box and launch the command prompt. From here enter the syntax "bootrec.exe /FixBoot", this will write a fresh copy of the MBR to your HDD, so that it can find and load the OS.

Hello, seems as if the Operating System is missing, you need to reinstall the O/S, if you have a Windows Disc/System Recovery Disc (that came with your Laptop) use this to install the O/S again, hope this helps.
