Yes you can. Androids can also create hotspots for free! Some androids come with a preinstalled function, and the rest you need to download an app for it. There are many free hotspot apps that can be installed for android! And the app uses hardly any memory. Android hotspots also have many options, like setting up passwords and changing connection settings. Also, the speed of your android Internet doesn't slow down extremely, while also providing fast Internet or the other device! You have to pay for iPhones hotspot, but Android has many choices to choose from, which most are free! :) hope that helped!

Yes you can and its a function of the cell not expensive like the iphone
