Do you think hobby stores rip you off on sports cards?
I go to hobby shops here and there and i see sport card packs selling for 12 dollars with a very low chance of getting an amazing card like a relic or w.e. Very rarely have i seen cards being sold for reasonable prices. The odds are never in your favor of what u want out of a pack. Even on websites, the asking price is way too much. They should change this if they want the sport card industry to expand even more or be a culture hit again.

This is because the 'lottery ticket' mentality has taken over the modern card collector. Everybody wants the chance at the special card. The card companies set the initial price for boxes when they sell them to dealers by the case. Once they hit the market, the market decides what they are worth. If people think $12 a pack is too much to pay to take the slim chance of getting something great, they won't pay and prices will fall.
Vintage card collectors like me do not get caught up in this. We know exactly what we are getting because the cards were made 40, 50, 60, even over 100 years ago. High prices haven't turned any of us off from collecting.

i agree. they're intense priced, and not in any respect impressive high quality- and im ashamed to assert that i supply into it and purchase some stuff. I dont pay more beneficial than thirty for denims. as for the images of denims putting down low- ew. actual the interior reach manager of AF were given arrested for having that up, getting proceedings and refusing to take it down yet i dont imagine you may generalize, and that i hit upon it strange that a question about the costs of denims grew to develop into right into a rant of being an same, stereotypical man or woman that everybody hates yet im not gonna make judgements in the previous i'm getting to understand you, purely judging by technique of hey there- thats the way you come off. in case you wanna communicate about that stuff- bypass get a weblog

The store or websites offer an item for sale.
You chose whether to buy or not.
Where is the rip off.
