What do the signs mean of a guy being distant?
We had a break up and before he wanted to spend all his time with me but now he wants to stay at his house and I can feel him being distant.
We went to a counseling session and he said he wanted to work it out but why the distance? The break up was about not communicating and little thing like him not getting me anything for valentines day and not listening to me.

A man who won't communicate is a problem. Mind you, men are less open emotionally than women and
it is hard for them to open up. Men also often have a listening problem, just like women have a talk-too-much problem.
As far as valentine's day goes, that's why a friend of mine calls a Hallmark
Holiday. How a man treats you the other 364 days of the year is what counts.

maybe he thinks that before the break up you were being kinda distant so maybe he thinks giving you space is good and will keep ur relationship so he's giving u the space he thinks you want

Needs time to self for thinking. Not usually good sign. Maybe trying to get away and breathe.
