help with this algebra fraction equation?

can 2/5*(5*x-3)-1/3*(12*x-5) be simplified to -2x-1/2 or -2x-2 or neither

I've been stuck on this for a while i came up with -2x+0.466666666...

i need help please

    2x - 6/5 -4x + 5/3 = -2x + 7/15

    2/5*(5*x-3)-1/3*(12*x-5)

    =2x - 6/5 -4x + 5/3

    =-2x + 7/15

    you were right.
