What is a good mid-range Range Cooker (UK)?

Looking to pay around £1K for one. Anyone had any experiences with these cookers and which brands are good? Thanks.

We have a 6 burner Delonghi Cooker. . Whilst the cooker has never let us down mechanically, the metal paint/lacquer from the metal hob (not the black curly metal thingy bit the pans sits on, the actual removable hob bit where the gas comes through) came off after just a few days.

Delonghi did replace all the hobs several times to be fair but this happened to all the replacement hobs..

Just something to bear in mind

I've use Zanussi cooker, I think it is a very reliable Italian brand, I even got the washing machine.

It's never let me down, and I cook quite allot.

This is my own personal opinion.
