Is a cashier's check legitimate in this situation?
I am selling my used car on eBay for $2500 with a buy it now option of $3000. I am from central Wisconsin and a buyer from Los Angeles contacted me and would like to pay with a cashier's check for the buy it now price. He/she has been a member of eBay for 2 months and has no feedback. This is their message:
I will issue out a cashier check for the buy it now price of the vehicle
pls send your full name and address , can you send addtional pictures to me.
pls send your cell number for effective communication
