Is it ok to still be best friends with your ex?
I went out with this one girl for not even a week! Sadly it didn't last long, I felt her trying to control the whole relationship, by ordering me to not hang out with these certain people, wanted me to text her 24/7 or she will think I'm ignoring her, and wants to go everywhere with me when I step out of my house. Before we went out we were best friends. She agrees we could still be best friends, it's my decision she said, but I don't know if I should or not I've known her for a very long time though.

Yeah, if you two are entirely okay with it then stay best friends.

Yeah of course you barely dated, why through away a long friendship over one week of dating. But if she is so controlling how is she a good friend?

I'm best friends with my ex. We still have feelings for each other though, we've just decided not to do anything about it. And now, we date other people. I think it's fine. Just give it some time.
