Please help! Do I have a right to be mad?
So my boyfriend works the night shift and last night I decided to surprise him and stay at his place (I usually only stay overnight on the weekends) anyway I also decided to surprise him by doing his laundry and cleaning his bedsheets for him. He gets to his apartment and he thanks me for the laundry and he was surprised. Anyway I had asked him if he'd hold my son while I was at a dentist appointment that I was suppose to have. He never really gave me an answer. So I tried waking him up this morning and he just groaned and mumbled. So I went and got ready. He was just waking up 30 minutes before my appointment without even acknowledging going to my appointment with me or that I had asked. So finally I called and canceled my appointment right in front of him (he was still laying in bed) and he was like "why'd you cancel?" All I was thinking was "Oh I DON'T KNOW. How the hell am I suppose to get my teeth cleaned with a 2 year old and no one helping me out?!" I was pissed cause I had done something nice for him not because he asked but because I wanted to, and all I asked was for some help with my son so I could go to my dentist appointment. Do I have a good reason to be mad or am I making it bigger than it needs to be?

yeah you have every right to be mad! i would be! its not hard is it for him to do you a favour after you did him one and he didnt even ask it was the thought that counted!!!

I would totally be upset too. I guess I would view that as being inconsiderate, though that may just be me. I would have asked for a definite answer before the morning so you could know, but regardless he had known about your plans and didn't help your situation. Good luck!

Well . im only 16 and alot of people say im good with advice. im a boy too and my girlfriend be trying to fight me to get outta bed.. its only because he was rather feeling: #1 Lazy, #2Still Sleep, #3 To Tired,#4 Had a Looong Day the previous day,(since im in sports) Or just Ignored you which i doubt... i would tell you my reasons were 2,and 4 but yeaa that was kinda messed up that you did all that. and he didnt help you i would`eve appreciated that definatly ;))

Personally I would be upset if my boyfriend did that to me.. You spent your time doing something nice for him and he couldn't even get up out of bed to help you out for an hour! I would be upset if I was in your situation..

I'm not sure who is at fault here, but you both need to communicate better with each other.
