Folding bikes on Las Vegas RTC buses?
I am soon about to purchase a folding bicycle and would like to know if I can bring the folded bike onto the bus with me since it will not take up very much space... I have checked the RTC website and called their phone number but I cannot get an answer if they are legal to bring on the bus. If anyone may be able to answer this, that'll be great.
I am aware of the bike racks attached to the buses... That's not what I mean though... What I mean is can I actually fold the bike up and put it right next to me. where I sit

Yes they actually have bike racks INSIDE the bus where you can hang em. I saw the last time i rode from downtown to the strip area. I believe some buses also have a front bike rack outside the bus but for sure i know there are bike hangers inside.

I suspect if the bike folds up to be about the size of a briefcase or medium size backpack, you will probably be fine. I know that people carry home their shopping, which can be several large bags with no problems. As long as you have the bike folded up and ready to go when you board the bus, it shouldn't be a problem. If you are currently riding the bus, ask the bus driver what the largest size package or item they generally allow.

West rim is a visitor entice on an indian reservation. They have got the sky walk thing and are in the direction of vegas so various day excursions go there. The views should not as good. South Rim is a part of Grand Canyon national Park. That is the excellent views of the canyon. It will be fine when you might spend a couple of days within the park. Stay in some of the ancient lodges within the park or one of the vital hotel external the park entrance. Watch the sunrise and sunset over the canyon, spend a while climbing down into the canyon, go on a mule ride, make the effort to benefit from the park. Be certain to discontinue at Hoover Dam for your way.

You could probably get a carry bag for the bike. They wouldn't know what it was. Either way I would think that it would be okay, but I'd still continue to try to get in contact with them.
