Seeking any information on Persian artist and oil paintings by Manouchehr Niazi?
Manouchehr Niazi, born 1936 - Paints, teaches, owns art gallery, but I cant seem to locate his art besides one painting in USA - and some in Iranian galleries - I cant find any for sale or indication of prices and available pieces.
I have tried to contact Niazi direct and via his gallery exhibitions etc - the Iranian WEBSITE and communication - is like talking to a brick wall - although, I will make further enquiries directly. HAS ANYONE GOT A NIAZI PAINTING?

Contact the galleries in question, they will most likely give you the prices.

I to have multiple Niazi paintings which seem to be from a time where he spent some time painting in Australia. I am in Brisbane and would love to know more about the artist and if anyone would like any of his artwork! Thanks.

Thank you for responding.. I was wondering where you got your paintings, size, value.??.. I got mine personally from Niazi in his Teheran studio in the 60's.. just before the demise of the Shah..I am near Sydney, Australia.

I have one that is dated 1966 when I believe he was experimenting with different styles. The one I have is a fairly large oil on canvas, signed twice in a wooden frame depicting a winter landscape with water and pine trees and shoreline. It is less abstract and surrealistic than later paintings. The frame has "Teheran" stamped on it.
