A question (or several) to Scottish/ UK service personnel WRT Scottish independence...?
OK, cards on the table, I'm not for independance, but we are paid to serve a democratic country, and if thats whats decided, then so be it, but...
How do you see your service going? Do you envisage (assuming that you are scottish, that you will be asked to transfer to the Scottish Defence Force? Assuming that enough of you choose not to, do you think you'd be compelled to?
Would the same rules apply to us non Scots who live in Scotland?

Scots will have the option of
Staying in the (rest of) UK military
Moving to serve in Scotland (under a new Scottish Government)
Scots will also have the option post independence of going to the (remainder of) UK defence force - as is currently done by Commonwealth soldiers, and will have more than 1 choice

Any serving jocks who want to serve the new homeland can resign from Her Majesty's Forces.
If they stay, or if newbies from Scotland want to join, they have sworn, will swear an oath to serve GB.
Cant serve two masters,
Done and dusted.
