Can VCR tapes be played on HD tvs?

    VCR tapes can be played in VCR machines (players/recorders). The player can be connected to a HDTV, but this will not automagically make the picture look better, on the contrary...

    If I were you, I would set the TV for displaying in the *ORIGINAL* format. (Not zoomed in - this way, the defects of the old technology will be less noticeable).

    its time to offload the VHS for a DVR. while you're on cable or satellite tv for pc, you % to bypass with the common classes, now no longer the HD channels simply by fact there is not any longer any SD output on an identical time as HD channels are chosen.
