Is it alright to still not be ready for dating?

I am a Junior, 17 years old. In middle school, I wasn't into any girl at my school and thought it would change in high school. I've been asked out by a few girls, turned them all down, none of them stick out to me. I know for a fact I'm straight so gay can't be the reason. I seem to not crack on pressure when girls talk to me, I also have several girls as friends in school we hang out at least once a month. I tried dating as a sophomore, but I didn't feel anything with the girl so I dumped her. I hope its okay to not have a crush on any girl throughout high school, I mean where are my hormones? Aren't they the reason for most people in high school to date way ahead of time? I'm starting to have a bad reputation of rejecting everyone, all people who know me, know I'm not gay luckliy. So back to the subject at hand, is it really alright for me at my age to not be interested in dating yet?

There's nothing wrong with not dating, I mean, you just aren't ready. Furthermore you weren't even attracted enough to any of those girls. You only have to date when you want to, not when "society" wants you to. You're fine as you are :) Don't worry about others.
