What accessories would work well with this prom dress?
I found this prom dress online that I LOVE! (it is the plum one on this link)
But, I want to make sure that I stand out at prom, so what fun accessories would look good with this dress? I want fun jewelry and maybe lipstick. I'm planning on wearing my hair down and in waves, in case that makes any difference.
Also, I am trying to figure out whether or not to wear heels. My boyfriend is not that much taller than me (only 3 inches or so). If I don't, what flats would work?
Thanks!

Oooh pretty! I think you should wear heels with this dress. They don't have to be tall heels, but I personally think heels would work better than flats. If you aren't comfortable in heels, then I'd say go with the flats! Also, go with silver jewelry. A light colored lipstick would be good since the dress is dark, and then you should be good! Have fun!

I would suggest heels, for sure...you can get ones that are about 2 inches, so you won't be taller than him. Usually 'kitten heels' like that height make your legs look stumpy, but it's a long dress so no one will see that.
For accessories...the neckline is so pretty, you should do big (not huge) chandelier/dangle earrings. You should stick with gold for everything (not a super shiny gold...more like a darker/bronzey gold). Nothing that's too 'hard' looking, like with sharp angles/triangles, because the dress has a more 'romantic' look. If you get a pretty clutch, you don't really need a bracelet, but you could do one anyway, or you could do a chunky ring instead.
If you pick more simple jewelry (like a very thing bracelet and drop/chandelier earrings that aren't that big), you can get a clutch that's funky/more embellished. But still stick to tones of gold (either a gold/bronze bag all over, or a black bag with gold embellishments)
These would look pretty:

Hi zippy. :) the gown looks elegant! If you would opt for flats, it will be okay because it's just a long gown, the shoes is not really visible. For your accessories, dangling silver earrings looks stunning. Bangles for your bracelet and fashionable necklace. You can combine plum and pink or yellow. Surely, you will stand out during your prom. Good luck!
