Lots of people eat raw hot peppers. They actually get used to the heat and get addicted to the adrenaline rush from eating them. Peppers have a chemical in them called capsaicin that the tongue senses as heat. The more capsaicin in a pepper, the hotter it tastes. But, it's basically harmless. The only physical problems you would have from eating a lot of hot peppers is that they may further damage something like a stomach ulcer, and they can be just as hot or hotter going out than they did going in.

A lot of people eat raw hot peppers, nothing crazy about it. I eat them with my club sandwiches.

Stop. The food supply has become very contaminated and will get worse w/ the sequestration of funding for food inspection by FDA and USDA.

Mic the peppers until stingingly hot to touch.
