does the battery on a ipod touch 5g die fast?

i had a 4g and it died pritty fast so i was wondering if the 5 is better

    Through out iOS 5, all iDevices have been plagued by battery problems so I don't think it's just necessarily one device (besides the iPhone 4S which is a complete disgrace for battery life).

    I think if you update to iOS 6 or have a 5th Gen Device it should be pretty decent.

    If you stop using it it wont run out of battery anymore
