Why does Nials marry Maris from the show "Frasier"?
I've only recently started watching this show, and I really like it. But it doesn't seem like Nials even likes Maris. Why did he even marry her? Especially since he has a crush on Daphne (unless that didn't start untill afterwards). And what I've been told about Maris is that she isn't exactly pretty either, yet she has had more than one affair.

He married Maris years before he met Daphne. I think he married her because hes a desperate loser who cant get women and he liked how rich she is.
