If you don't want original windows.. go for laptop having DOS in it... as you can install pirated windows whenever you want and and you would save a lot of money.
But if you want original stuff.. go for laptop having windows 8 pre installed.
I will recommend laptop having DOS..
You will found no difference in pirated windows and original windows.. they both work same.

Hi If some idiot has loaded a new Pc or laptop with DOS it must have problems.
this old operating system is only used these days for certain engineering applications and was around prior to windows 3.1 back in 1984.
so that is best left well alone.
be sensible and have the windows 8 laptop as it has or should be the latest software unless these two have some issues as nothing else makes any sense.
Source(s): I think you are having a giraffe with us over this DOS or disc opearating system was used with a floppy drive usually 3.5 inch drive when a laptop had no hard drive installed and all was on a 720mb floppy disk. so some idiot is playing games and is just having a laugh only used these days to program certain engineering units like PMR radios.
