The Illuminati is very real, I would know, I've researched them a great deal over the past few years. However I have to interject here that, indeed, many of the over achievers aren't part of the Illuminati.
I understand that 90% of youtube videos will present the Illuminati as a satanic sect withing the music industry, but bear in mind the Illuminati are generally much more wealthy then the average celebrity. The symbolism is undeniable in various music videos, but it would be naive to say that the celebrities are the ones adding these symbols.
The Illuminati are financial masters of business and commerce. The music industry is composed of a hundred different record labels or music producers. If celebrities want their music to reach the airwaves, they must sign contracts with these record companies. If you got to look at the contracts of various celebrities you'd realize they're not as wealthy as you think. Half of a musician's annual income usually goes to the record labels, managers and agents. In the filming of music videos a director is often chosen that includes these symbols. There's always a director, producer or choreographer behind the scenes of music videos that tell the artists how to perform. Actors generally don't have a say on what goes on in the movie, that's left up to the director. The same applies to singers, they are paid to sing and perform, whomever includes these symbols in the music videos it's always somebody on an executive level within that particular record company. The record companies make so much money because it usually ends up taking away half of the performing artists.
The Illuminati only recruit over achievers. The average celebrity makes about $5 - $6 million a year, but the Illuminati maker closer to $20 million. This does not mean all celebrities are not part of the Iluminati, several of them actually are such as Madonna, Jay Z, Lady Gaga and Kanye West. If some of the stars begin taking prominent positions in the record companies, it leaves them up to suspicion. Madonna was not only a Cabala priestess, but CEO of Maverick Records. Jay Z became a Freemason and is co-creator of Roc-A-Fella Records, which is named after one of the Illuminati bloodlines (Rockefeller). When he, Biggs, and Dame sold the company to Def` Jam Records, Jay Z ousted his two friends and became CEO of Def Jam.
Very rarely do the celebrities become privy to the Illuminati, but occasionally it does happen. They only choose those that have influence over the public. It's all about control to the Illuminati. The music industry is owned by the same companies that own the media. They can more easily control what is distributed to the public.

Well, no.
Source(s): If you think they are real then I will refrain from explaining why they aren't part of it. Let's just say people who think mainstream listeners are sheep for listening to what's popular, and then go an believe an internet tale are a tad ridiculous. - ?Lv 58 years ago
No, not everybody working in the music industry is part of the Illuminati. But they do basically control it. Anybody who wants to get the level of say Jay-Z has to "sell their soul to the devil." They have little to no say in their careers and become puppets to their agendas.
