and after all this ..this help and support thingy says "The page you are trying to view cannot be displayed because the server it resides o does not respond .Please try again later." and it doesn't help .. .. Can someone help me to fix my software??

avast is a great product, and that's loose. yet be certain you're starting to be it from the genuine web site. there are countless fake acquire web content that provide you with malware yet call it Avast.

That is a fake avast you need to restore to a earlier time remove it use the new Microsoft av it is free also.
