Skyrim Hearthfire: how to duplicate armors?
I've been reading that you can duplicate armors... can someone tell me how? Also, this is important, do you need the armory to do so? thanks!

It can be done on any mannequin - if it works that is. None of my old mannequins duplicate new items now since installing the Hearthfire dlc but ive read it still happens for some people. The mannequins in the new homesteads have only given the feet or hand items so far.
How i used to do it-
Activate the mannequin & place 4 desired items. Take the items back off it BEFORE you exit the mannequin inventory screen so the mannequin is naked when you do exit it. Now you need to leave the house. When you re-enter the mannequin should have the items on it again even though you have them in your inventory. You should actually see them jump a bit then the items appear.
Some places like Proudspire Manor you can walk outside then back in. With the house in Riften you have to walk away from the house a bit then turn around & re-enter. Has to do with distance from the mannequin i figure.
With the new homesteads, you can have 1 in the main hall (upstairs) & 1 in the cellar. 1 of the tower wings give you 1 & the armoury gives you 5.
Duplicating the Daedric & Ebony items is a good way to earn money quick.
Good Luck.

I used to be having issues too until I did some study and found a web page that figured it out and have been inclined to share. In addition they plan on updating with new info/candies as they arrive across them. However in actual fact you must talk to the Jarl of The faded, Falkreath or Hjaarlmarsh. You will have to be met by a courier next time you head into city at lest 24hrs (in sport) after downloading the DLC. It looks like which you can nonetheless adopt a little one even supposing you don't buy land/build a house when you consider that the steward of Whiterun (or anywhere) offers you a little one's bed room and you have got speak options to undertake whilst you talk to beggar children after downloading. Hope this helps!
