Amazon question help?
On 28th Feb I ordered something on Amazon, with the expected delivery between 1-5 March. It still isn't here so I want on to track the order and this is what it says:
5 Mar 2013 - Held by carrier - customer to arrange delivery
5 Mar 2013 - Delivery attempted
5 Mar 2013 - Out for delivery
4 Mar 2013 - Held by carrier - customer to arrange delivery
4 Mar 2013 - Delivery attempted
4 Mar 2013 - Out for delivery
2 Mar 2013 - Arrival Scan
28 Feb 2013 - Departure Scan
I just don't get why it was out for delivery and now it's held by the carrier. what does this mean? And how can I get the package sent? I've looked and it doesn't have a contact for the carrier.

It sounds like they need a signature for delivery, or for some reason can't just leave it at your door or in your mailbox. If you don't see a sticky note on your door or a slip in your mailbox (you don't say if UPS or USPS), then since you have the tracking number (as indicated by your ability to see the order tracking), contact the carrier via the web or phone and ask them what the situation is.
If you don't do this, at some point they are going to return the package to Amazon as undeliverable. Amazon will then refund your purchase price but not any shipping costs.
