I have some problems with a teacher.?

Pretty much the whole year I've been having problems with my engineering design teacher. The dude thinks I'm stealing other people's work by copying and pasting everything into my folder. This happened a little while back. He sent me to the office cause I jumped all over him for accusing me. So I then go up to the office and tell the principal. Turns out the principal ain't worth a crap. I tell her EVERYTHING even including that I good off a little in class. She told me that she would have a talk with him after school that day. So the next day I get called to the office and pretty much lets me know that the engineering design teacher filled her full of crap. She then throws me in detention for "smart mouthing" the teacher. Alright so that's what happened a while back. Today he caught my friend with his phone out. And sends him and me and one of my other friends for "laughing"....are you kidding me?! So when he gets out there he gets onto Dylan for having his phone out. (Reasonable). But then he turns to me and changes the subject COMPLETELY on me bringing back up the accusing crap again. I got into another little fuss with him but here's the funny part he told me to go in there and show him that I could do it so I sat my *** down and did it on like 2:00 minutes.... He then just told me to just go sit down. I have zero respect for this guy. None. The principals suck and so does this teacher. I told my parents about it and idk what they'll try to do. Can yall help me out here cause I have no idea where to turn. It's pretty obvious the principal ALWAYS goes with the teacher before the student. That's just how it is. I'm just all upset about all of this. Sorry for the ton of reading. Thanks!

I know what you mean; teachers can be really weird sometimes. There was this one teacher in high school; I didn't have her, but my friends did, and they all kept saying how she was being such a ***** because she was going through a divorce. Teachers have issues all the time, just like we do; but I think school faculty, police force, and counselors should all be reviewed for background checks every year. I hate when there's a stupid teacher who is inconsiderate, when they're dealing with kids. That's a bad combination; plus, kids are going through hormonal changes all the time; teachers had their chance.

I was always in trouble, because I have a smart *** mouth. :)haha

It was usually gym teachers who gave me a hard time, mostly because they were short or bald or had no sense of humor. One teacher (he was young, like 8 years older than me).... Okay, I was in study hall in the cafeteria, asking the teacher questions. Finally, he told me to be quiet; I wouldn't, so he sent me to the 'detention room' or whatever it was. I'm thinking, "**** no, I'm not going to detention in STUDY HALL for asking a question!" Or, there was this one teacher who kept bothering me about the clothes i wore. "Your shorts are too short; your shoulder's showing!" I'm thinking, "Do you see all the cheerleader whores with practically no pants on?"

Teachers that bother you are trying to break you. They want you to cross the line, like in Breakfast Club. Remember the douchy teacher who was asking that bad kid to take a punch at him? They just want to report something so bad, so they can all laugh about it on their lunch. Don't even let him get to you; just do your work, and you know you'll never sign up for his class again! And if he keeps picking on you, personally; walk out of the class and go to the counselors. Tell her everything, that you're at your wits end, and you're reporting this because it's making you uncomfortable; and you don't want to hurt anybody. Stress the seriousness of the issue, that way everyone knows that you're trying to be the bigger person.

I'll tell you what works for me. No matter how angry/embarrassed/afraid I feel, I sit quietly until the jerk is done talking. Then, I say sthg like,"Could we discuss this privately?" or,"Let me see if I'm understanding you. You think/feel..."and then sum up what he said. Teachers and other authority figures can be very irrational. Sometimes it's up to us to stay calm and speak up assertively to get them to back off. As for laughing, just hold that in and laugh later. And don't expect an apology from them. It takes a huge pair to be able to apologize to a student, and he may not have those yet.

    Best wishes

To be honest, I am just facing the situation which is kind of similar to yours. I made a complain about one of my teacher for using inappropriate language with me. The authorities took it for granted as the guy made his own stories but the good thing was that they changed the teacher. So, the new teacher kind of treats me rudely because the previous one stuffed his head with lies and I had few arguments ( New Teacher ) with him for he accused me for lame situations that doesn't even make sense. It was really hurting me but then just move on, don't bother about whatever the teacher is saying. Be sincere, work hard, stay calm and try your best to show respect for him even if you don't have any. =]

You just have to tolerate it but remember try to stay out of trouble as much as you can because this may spoil your reputation among other teachers.
