Should i buy a ps2 since ps4 can't play my old games or should i wait?

i don't want to pay for my games again.....

    at this point, I think it's pretty safe to say that the PS4 will NOT play PS2 game discs, so you're better off getting a PS2. a slimline at that.

    Yes you should. Despite how many of the people will just say it's a old console but heck, if it's so old, then how come it could still play back DVD movies?! I mean, don't many of us still technically use DVD's as a default format rather than blu-ray?

    Also, obviously there's thousands of games available on that console and many of the games would most likely be worth about $1 to $5 or so. Or at least that's my opinion on how a lot of the games are suppose to be worth nowadays. Except for maybe extremely rare PS2 games like Fatal Frame Games and .Hack Games.

    Yeah the PS4 will not be Backwards Compatible with PS2 games and also with PS3 games.My advice:Don't buy a PS2 that's a old gen console,buy a PS3 it's the best(Long Live PS3!!!!)

    Do you mean ps3? If you actually mean ps2 then I don't see why not, they are cheap and not too hard to find. Why wait? ps4 won't play ps2 games and It isn't like you will be wasting money, it is already old.
