Heating wax for hair removal?

I recently bought Parissa Hot wax. I dont have those wax heater things so I'm doing it by stove. The wax is already in a container that is like a mini pot with handle. The instructions say to heat wax in its pan so do I just put the pan directly on the stove??? Dumb question but its my first time and I want to be safe :) Thanks!!

Do not put it on the stove, it will melt and catch on fire. Parissa has several types of melting waxes, some for the microwave, some for salon, other strips. Please read the instructions that comes with it. If you do not own a microwave, and you bought the microwave version by accident, put a pot of water half way filled with water on the stove, open your jar, and place it in the water. Make sure that you do not overflow your jar. Good luck
