I am taking 7.5 mgs. of this drug every 6-8 hours. My pain isn't responding as well as it used to. I am afraid of becoming a drug Zombie.

Take it with ibprophen or tylenol to help. Yes u can mix them.i was on vicoden, and it really helps you between doses to take another pain reliever. Ur body just gets used to the drug and its in ur system still when u take the next dose so u wont feel it as well. Call ur doc and explain this, they will switch u or change the dose. Dot worry about being a drug zombie. U haveto be taking them for a long time in high doses for that to happen. Try adding another half with ur dose when the pain is bad just dont do it all the time or u will have to up the dose for good
