I suspect it's because He was a much BETTER "Organizer"- than a lot of People initially gave Him Credit for !! :)

You seem to forget -- Community organizer, State Senator, US Senator, Harvard Graduate (with honors), Editor of Harvard law Review, and constitutional scholar...and of course he ran against two of the worst candidates in history an almost senile John McCain and the astonishingly unqualified Sarah Palin in 2008 and Mitt, the robotic flip flopper and the amusingly ill-suited Paul Ryan in 2012. Oh yes and we still remember how the failed conservative agenda blew up in our face in 2008. Perhaps more people thought that a community organizer was a better choice than a corporate robot.

Two words: white guilt. The press and public fell in love with the idea of a black man running for the office. It was a way to help appease white guilt and make people feel better about themselves. Somehow, people felt that electing Obama as President would wipe away the past evils of slavery, minority rights, etc. The media and his supporters did a wonderful job convincing everyone that if you didn't vote for Obama, the only possible reason was because you were racist.

Most gave Obama a free pass and the mainstream media declined to check too deeply into his background. And yet we knew everything there was to know about any opposition to Obama.

There is nothing wrong with being a janitor or a used car salesman either but it hardly qualifies someone to be the president.

No matter who became the next president it was always going to be a big improvement on Mr MIssion Accomplished.

What's wrong with being a community organizer??? They're useless. in my community, we just get together and get things done, we don;t need anyone to organize us.

No I look at it as how the Harvard University Graduate became president. He's a smart man, but it's impossibal to please everyone.
