earned income credit?

i thought my 19 year old daughter (she's a dependent) was classified a full time college student but come to find out she's a half time student. i understand to get the eic she has be to be a full time student. i e-filed for the earned income credit and received a cp05 letter, under review. will this credit be disallowed? thanks.

    She has to be a full time student as defined by the school. This should have been checked or not checked on the 1098-T--which you were supposed to look at before filing.

    If you made a mistake, admit it. If she wasn't eligible, you do NOT get EIC for her, nor do you get her exemption, any tuition credit, or HOH if she was your only qualifying child.

    out of your counsel, you look qualified to receive the Earned earnings credit. The EIC would be found out of all the earnings, no longer purely your wages. In different words, the unemployment would be extra on your wages. So, your EIC would be under in case you used purely your wages. if your companion became an entire-time pupil, check out the yankee probability credit. in case you or your companion paid for qualified preparation fees, you're able to get some tax advantages.
