No, T-mobile is not available in Nigeria.
There are other gsm service providers in Nigeria. Some are MTN, Etisalat, Airtel.
They are pretty fast too..in the places you might stay that is.
They all operate a 3.75G with up to 42 mbps.
I don't know if your nexus will work here though.
