Nobody ever answers my questions but I would really appreciate it.. does he like me again?

(Before you read all this keep in mind he told me he just wanted to be bestfriends 2 months ago.) I went to my best guyfriend of almost 4 years,Tyler's birthday party lastnight (he's 18 now) and I was the first one there and we went out to sit by the fire and he gave me a hug and kissed the back of my neck. That night I told him he was gay,he said "no I'm not." I said "prove it." He said, "I will." Then I said,"You say that as you're walking away?" He said," you're not following." About a hour later I was standing by him and he said, "sit on my lap." So I did. Then about 30 minuets later he sat down by the fire and I put my arms around his neck down to his stomach and he held my wrists and kissed my hands. Then he got up and gave me a hug. Then the dog came and licked Tylers lips :/I said, " eww that's gross." He said," more than you gave me I can say that" then he went and got high with 3 of his friends not terribly but you could tell and he came over to me gave me a hug and as I pulled away my hair was in his face but he moves it and he kissed me on the lips. Then when I was leaving aroumd 1 a.m he walked me.to my car he put hisbarm aroumd me and kissed my head and said," thank yiu for coming."If je just wants to be "bestfriends"what went on? Is he changing his mind? I don't want to ask him but I wanna play it out ya know what I mean? Also I think he has a girlfriend but I'm not 100% sure she said they weren't but he was texting her almost the whole time. so I'm so confused thanks for the help!
