Why People keep asking the same question again and again?

They are trolling.

I was just thinking about asking the same question. I see the same questions posted sometimes four or five times. This is supposed to be against the rules. Some will have answers posted by different people on each so it seems to me it's harder for the person asking to sift through all those answers before making a selection on the right answer.

I find it annoying especially if it's a stupid question which there are too many of.

on occasion I do...yet i think of with a number of my contacts...they're asking returned for greater responses....it relies upon on whilst somebody asks a question no depend if or not they get the responses they choose and a few do it for the sake of their contacts...perchance somebody did not have a guess to respond to, so then it extremely is asked returned so as that they are able to.

Often they are just trying to see how many answers they will get.

Repetitive questions can be reported as a violation

Um... I've never ran into a question like that, they just get NO ANSWERS.
