How to run a successful tax business?

I want to start an income tax service. I have all of the knowledge on how to do the actual work, but how can I keep customers happy, without them taking up so much time? Of course I want to keep customers coming back.

Anyone who does taxes knows that you have to concentrate on what your doing, so it would be better for both people if the customer would drop it off and come back when its finished. But some people want face to face interaction and I understand that so what accommodations could be made that would keep business efficient.

Should I limit appointments to a certain length of time? Prepare taxes right there on the spot?

What should I do?

Thanks

Try working for someone else your first year so you can learn the business. If you are bright enough to pick up on everything, open your business the second year.
