Pain in upper left buttock?

I got this pain in my upper part of my butt, I feel it the most when I get up from bed and start running at a slow pace. However when I start running faster the pain is minimal. It is annoying me because I'm in track and this prevents me from performing at my best.

Is there anything I can do, besides going to some doctor, to alleviate the pain and have it go away for good?

It is almost as it were the base of the spine sometimes

Pain in an indication that all is not right with all body parts.

Very likely you have a lower vertebrae slightly out of adjustment, causing it to pinch a nerve. The best solution is to start working with a good sports chiropractor who can check and put things back into total balance so you can have optimum performance. Virtually all Olympic champions have their own chiropractor because for them, it's their competitive edge.

You can check yourself by using a carpenter level and looking at yourself in a full length mirror. In a totally upright pose, hold the level before you so it matches your shoulders in the mirror. Are they level? Do the same with your hips. Then check to see if your legs are exactly the same length from the hip bone down. That too could be the problem, one leg is longer than the other, throwing everything off balance.

A pinched nerve can cause severe or intermittent buttock discomfort. It does now not need to run down your leg. It might really be extra critical than the type that radiates down the leg... It's a warning sign & I advise you see a Dr. Or chiropractor. Get Xrays carried out to see if it can be a bulging or herniated disc. You might have a vertebrae fairly out of place. Nonetheless, do not take it evenly, as it may possibly get significantly worse. Do not do any lifting except this is checked out. ~believe better~
