    You can look up american food on wikipedia, but if you ask a real american, it's hamburgers, pizza, barbecues, and steak.

    Lots of things. Southwest cuisine, Cajun Food, American BBQ, Tex Mex is more american than mexican.

    Hamburgers, hotdogs, fried chicken, apple pie, cheesecakes, steaks, baked beans, clam chowder, chocolate chip cookies, coleslaw, corn on the cob, fudge brownies, chili, macaroni & cheese, strawberry shortcake, meatloaf, cornbread are American food.
