Abilify but I'm not a doctor so maybe ask your psychiatrist.

I have two different friends with teens on bipolar medications.

I never inquired about the specific medications...but, it would be best to have a pediatric psychiatrist recommend the appropriate one(s) and dosage. No telling what answers you would get here.

There are too many variables involved to definitively say. Some people react one way to a medication, and others act a different way. Also, most bipolar medications are not tested and approved by the FDA in humans below 18 yrs of age, and medications that work one way for an adult can work entirely different on a younger person. So, it will be important for the doctor to know many other factors before beginning treatment with prescriptions. That includes family medical history, the teen's medical history, your teen's specific issues with bipolar behavior, and so much more.

Below are a couple threads to help you do a little research on the subject. Hope it helps.
