I think i answerd one of your questions before regarding this similar situation... If i recall you mention something about you having a wider board than your bros board ..But that you liked his board better and felt more comfortable with it..etc

I think it was a 8" board.. And you wanted to get that cause your board was a little wider than that and you weren't really feeling it..

The only thing was that do to you're size i suggested that you not get anything Under 8" boards .. cause you would need as much footing space as possible..etc And getting anything under 8" wouldn't recommended for you ..but now if you considering getting a 8.5"than i think that would suit you better.. And yes 8.5" are good for street skating..etc.

i ought to signify a 7.5 inch deck. pondering ur foot length and all. sturdy manufacturers: plan b, woman, habitat, secret, 0, almost. trucks: 5.0 inch, no wider. sturdy manufacturers: challenge, thunder, tensor, destructo. wheels: 52mm is about precise. not too huge, not too small. ricta is a very sturdy type for novices. spitfire wears out certainly, yet lotsa ppl have em. bearings: Bones Reds. dont get some thing else. those are low-priced and quick. very last lengthy too if u dont get em moist lots. axle is exceedingly a lot the trucks, which i have reported above. bolts: 7/8 inch or a million inch should be sturdy. it looks weird and wonderful with higher bolts and no marvel pads/risers. yet ppl dont get risers in many circumstances. not even specialists. shortys and self reliant bolts are very conventional. FKD bolts dont get free is what i have heard. self reliant is heavy. griptape: MOB or black magic. those are the most suitable manufacturers. I easily have had a foul journey with jessup, so i dont get those anymore. attempt em out if u like. those are the great 3 manufacturers. if i did not element out a length, then the area/element is presented in only a million length.

Yes I ride 8.5 and I love them. I'm 6ft tall and I wear size 11. Maybe you would even go for 8.6 the way I see it the bigger the better
